Welcome to Plot Camera. By using our website, placing an order, requesting a trade-in quote, or purchasing from us, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

About Plot Camera

Plot Camera sells pre-owned camera bodies, lenses, and accessories. Items are individually inspected, tested, photographed, and condition-graded before being listed.

Product Condition

Most products sold by Plot Camera are used or pre-owned unless clearly stated otherwise.

Condition ratings are based on our inspection of cosmetic condition, functional performance, included accessories, and known issues at the time of listing. Minor signs of normal use may be present on pre-owned items.

Product Photos and Descriptions

We do our best to provide accurate photos, descriptions, condition notes, included accessories, and pricing. Because most items are pre-owned and individually listed, small cosmetic variations may exist.

If you have questions about an item, please contact us before purchasing.

Testing and Inspection

Camera bodies, lenses, and accessories are tested before sale where possible. Testing may include autofocus, aperture, image stabilization, buttons, dials, screens, ports, sensors, optics, batteries, chargers, and basic operation.

For lenses, normal used dust that does not affect image quality may be present unless otherwise stated. Any significant haze, fungus, scratches, separation, autofocus issue, or stabilization issue known to us will be disclosed in the listing.

Pricing and Availability

Prices are listed in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise.

Availability is not guaranteed until checkout is completed. Because many items are one-of-a-kind, an item may sell out quickly or become unavailable.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, listing errors, stock errors, or inaccurate product information.

Orders and Payment

Orders must be paid in full before shipping or pickup unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We may cancel or refuse an order if we suspect fraud, payment issues, incorrect pricing, inventory errors, or misuse of our website.

Local Pickup

Local pickup may be available in Vancouver, British Columbia, by appointment. Pickup instructions will be provided after order confirmation.

Customers are encouraged to inspect the item at pickup. After pickup, the return policy still applies only within the stated return window and conditions.

Shipping

Shipping is available to eligible locations. Shipping times, carriers, insurance, and costs may vary depending on the item and destination.

Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the carrier marks the package as delivered, unless the issue is due to our shipping error or carrier damage covered by insurance.

Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are handled according to our Return and Refund Policy.

Trade-In and Buyback

Trade-in and equipment purchase quotes are estimates until the item is physically inspected by Plot Camera.

Final trade-in or buyback value may change if the item condition, accessories, serial number, functionality, or disclosed information differs from what was submitted.

Items sold to Plot Camera as trade-ins or buybacks are final once the transaction is completed.

User Conduct

You agree not to misuse our website, submit false information, attempt fraud, interfere with checkout, scrape content, or use our services for unlawful purposes.

Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, product descriptions, photos, branding, logos, and design elements, belongs to Plot Camera or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plot Camera is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or purchase of products from our website.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
