Are all Plot products used?
Most items listed on Plot are premium used camera gear. Some products may be like new, open box, or unused. The exact condition is always shown clearly on the product page.
Are all products tested before sale?
Yes. Every item is inspected and tested before being listed. We check key functions such as autofocus, image stabilization, buttons, screens, ports, optics, battery operation, and general usability when applicable.
What does “Tested by Plot” mean?
“Tested by Plot” means the item has gone through our internal inspection process. Our goal is to make used camera gear easier and safer to buy with clear photos, fair grading, and honest descriptions.
How does your condition grading work?
We grade products based on cosmetic condition, functionality, and overall usability. Our grades include New, Like New, Excellent Plus, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, and As-Is.
Are the product photos real?
Yes. Unless clearly stated otherwise, the photos and videos show the actual item for sale. We do our best to show the item clearly from multiple angles, including any noticeable wear.
What accessories are included?
Included accessories are listed on each product page. This may include items such as front cap, rear cap, lens hood, battery, charger, strap, box, cables, or original accessories.
Can I request more photos or details?
Yes. You can request extra photos, videos, serial number details, glass condition, shutter count, or accessory confirmation before purchasing.
Can I test the item before buying?
Yes. For local pickup orders, you can inspect and test the item before completing the purchase. We recommend bringing your own camera body, lens, memory card, or accessories if needed.
Do I need an appointment for local pickup?
Yes. Please contact us before visiting. Local pickup and product testing are available by appointment only, usually in Downtown Vancouver.
Do you offer shipping?
Yes. Shipping is available for selected items. We usually ship with Canada Post or another suitable carrier depending on item value, destination, insurance needs, and shipping cost.
How are shipped items packed?
Items are carefully packed with protective materials. For higher-value orders, we may also share packing photos before the item is shipped.
Is tracking included with shipping?
Yes. Tracking information is provided once the package has been shipped. Insurance may also be added or required for higher-value items.
When will my order be shipped?
Orders are usually shipped after payment is confirmed and the item is packed. Shipping timing may depend on carrier availability, order time, and the selected shipping method.
What is your return policy?
Returns may be accepted within 7 days if the item is returned in the same condition as sold. Approved returns are eligible for either full store credit or a refund with a 15% restocking fee.
Can I return an item if I change my mind?
Yes, change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 7 days, as long as the item is in the same condition. You can choose full store credit or a refund with a 15% restocking fee.
What items are not eligible for return?
Items sold as As-Is, items damaged after purchase, items with missing accessories, or items affected by drops, liquid damage, misuse, incompatible accessories, or user error are not eligible for return.
What if the item has an undisclosed issue?
If you believe the item has a significant issue that was not disclosed, please contact us as soon as possible with photos, videos, and order details. We will review the situation fairly.
Do used items come with warranty?
Most used items do not include a manufacturer warranty unless clearly stated in the listing. However, each item is tested and described carefully before sale.
Can I trade in my camera gear?
Yes. Plot accepts selected cameras, lenses, and accessories for trade-in. Offers depend on model, condition, market demand, included accessories, and testing results.
Do you buy used camera gear?
Yes. You can send us your item details, photos, condition notes, included accessories, and asking price. We will review the item and provide an offer when possible.
