Return and Refund Policy

At Plot Camera, we sell pre-owned camera bodies, lenses, and accessories that are individually inspected, tested, photographed, and condition-graded before being listed.

7-Day Return Policy

Customers may request a return within 7 days of delivery or local pickup.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be returned in the same condition as received and must include all original accessories, caps, chargers, batteries, boxes, paperwork, packaging materials, and any other items that were included with the order.

Return Options

For eligible returns within 7 days, customers may choose one of the following options:

Option 1 — Full Store Credit

Customers may receive the full purchase amount as store credit.

Store credit can be used toward a future purchase at Plot Camera. Store credit is not redeemable for cash.

Option 2 — Refund to Original Payment Method

Customers may receive a refund to the original payment method, subject to a 15% restocking fee.

The 15% restocking fee helps cover inspection, payment processing, relisting, handling, packaging, and administrative costs related to pre-owned camera equipment.

Return Shipping

For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

If the customer chooses to return the item by shipping, the item must be packaged safely and shipped with tracking. Plot Camera is not responsible for damage or loss during return shipping caused by poor packaging or carrier handling.

Defective, Wrong, or Not-as-Described Items

If an item is defective, materially different from the listing description, or the wrong item was shipped, the customer may be eligible for a full refund without a restocking fee.

The item must first be returned and inspected by Plot Camera.

If the issue is confirmed, Plot Camera will provide an appropriate resolution, which may include a full refund, replacement if available, repair support, or store credit.

Condition of Returned Items

All returned items are inspected before any refund or store credit is issued.

Returned items must match the original condition, serial number, accessories, and included items recorded at the time of sale.

Plot Camera may refuse a return or reduce the refund or store credit amount if the item is returned with:

• Missing accessories
• New scratches, dents, impact marks, or cosmetic damage
• Water damage or moisture exposure
• Signs of misuse, improper handling, or tampering
• Removed or altered serial numbers
• Internal damage caused after delivery or pickup
• Missing caps, chargers, batteries, boxes, straps, hoods, manuals, or other included items
• Packaging or accessories not returned with the item

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return unless otherwise required by law:

• Items sold “as-is”
• Items sold “for parts” or “for repair”
• Items with clearly disclosed defects
• Clearance or final sale items
• Special-request items
• Reserved items
• Trade-in, buyback, or equipment purchase transactions
• Items damaged after delivery or pickup
• Items altered, repaired, opened, or modified by the customer or a third party

Local Pickup Orders

For local pickup orders, customers are encouraged to inspect and test the item at the time of pickup.

Local pickup orders may still be eligible for return within 7 days, provided the item is returned in the same condition and meets the requirements of this policy.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before they are shipped or picked up.

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. However, it may be eligible for return after delivery under this policy.

Shipping Damage

If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please keep the item, box, packaging materials, and shipping label. Photos of the item and packaging may be required to open a carrier claim.

Refund Processing

Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the return is approved.

Approved store credit will be issued for the full eligible purchase amount.

Approved refunds to the original payment method will be issued after deducting the 15% restocking fee, unless the return is due to a confirmed defect, wrong item, or not-as-described issue.

Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank, credit card provider, or payment processor.
